Snakeword is a word puzzle game that has featured in 'Take a Puzzle' magazine since 2015.
It is played on a grid with clues to answer but unlike a crossword your answers have to change direction every time you place a vowel (A,E,I,O,U).
Answers have to reach from one numbered square to the next and the last letter of each word forms the first letter of the next word and so a long snake of interconnected words is formed.

Clueless Snakeword is a word puzzle game that has been made into puzzle books
The rules of Clueless Snakeword match those of the clued version however the words to place onto the grid are provided in a random order and the aim is to fit all of the words with only the first square, the last 'Star' square and directions shown. A scattering of letters are placed onto the grid to assist.
The puzzle books come in 'Beginner', 'Intermediate' and 'Advanced' levels.
